Course Overview:
Across New Zealand, LUVs are becoming more and more of an essential piece of equipment for so many businesses and operating it safely and efficiently is becoming more vitally important. Upskilling and retraining staff is part of the requirements of the H&S at Work Act 2015.
We will come to you and train on your machine and incorporate a daily task including the LUV, hence making the training as familiar as possible.
Our LUV safe operation course is ideal for current and new operators to establish their knowledge and understanding as well as learn new skills and safe operating techniques. This will include, up to date information on the health and safety legislation and its role in keeping people safe.
Course Outcomes:
Health and safety at work act (as required) and your responsibilities
Riding Environment hazards and control measures
Safety requirements of a rider
Controls and displays of the quadbike
Safe Riding techniques
Pre-ride checks and basic maintenance
Operate a LUV on flat terrain
Operate LUV with mounted load
Operate a LUV with trailed equipment (laden and un-laden), including reversing
Operate LUV on rolling terrain
On completion of the course, you will receive a competency certificate on what was covered throughout the duration of the course, you will also go home with refined knowledge and best practices on LUV operation.

Fees: $499 GST inclusive per person.
Delivery: Short theory module & practical training
Duration: 1-day
Equipment required: Sensible clothing for all-weather training and suitable enclosed footwear.
Travel: Please note that travel costs to the designated training venue (outside of a 50km radius from our base) will be charged at $1 GST inclusive per kilometre.
